What is frolicism?
Ferrosilicon is used as a source of silicon in steelmaking and foundry factories. It is also used in all low-alloy and high-alloy carbon steels for the purpose of deoxidation and in the production of ferroalloys by the silico-thermite method.
Silicon plays the role of an alloy element in the production of electrical steels that are used in the core of transformers and electric motors.
Ferrosilicon is used as a supplier of silicon up to 3% in the production of gray and ductile irons.
Ferrosilicon is the main material that forms the basis of analysis in ferrosilico magnesium and casting nucleators.
It is used as a part of the coating composition on the welding wire in some welding electrodes.
Ferrocalcium Granulation (mm)
Ferosilis 3-0
Ferrosilicon 0-3 mm is characterized by its small particle size, which often resembles sand or powder. This granulation is generally used in the production of ferroalloys such as ferromolybdenum, production of magnesium ingots, and also as a nucleating agent in casting industries and the production of cast iron parts.

Ferosilis 10-3
Unlike fine ferrosilicon with smaller particle size or coarse ferrosilicon with larger grains, medium ferrosilicon is in between in terms of particle size. It is usually composed of medium-sized grains or particles that often resemble sand. This granulation is generally used as an alloying agent and an increaser of the silicon element, as well as a nucleating agent in casting industries and the production of cast iron parts.

Ferosilis 60-10
Unlike fine ferrosilicon, which has a fine particle size similar to sand or powder, coarse ferrosilicon is characterized by larger grains or aggregates that often resemble small rocks or flakes. This granulation, like other granulations, in addition to the nucleating and alloying agent in the casting industry and the production of cast iron parts, is mainly used as an oxygen remover in the steel industry and some iron alloys.
What is microsilica?
Microsilica powder (Microsilica, silica fume) is a byproduct of ferrosilicon production process in electric arc furnace. Microsilica powder has superpozzolanic properties and is widely used in concreting related to the construction of marine structures, structures with high resistance class and all structures that are exposed to chemical attacks, especially chlorine and sulfate ions. With the research done, the resulting dust under the name of microsilica has found different uses and acquired economic values, and it is no longer considered as a production waste, but as a side product.
usage of Microsilica
Microsilica can be used in the production of refractory concretes that are produced from calcium-aluminate cements, at the same time, this material can also be used in the production of other types of refractory materials. In these cases, the use of microsilica improves ceramic bonds and the properties of the product are significantly improved.
Laboratory parameters
Boiling point: It varies depending on the type of application and physical properties.
Appearance and color: The shape of particles with an average diameter of 40 micrometers is spherical and the color of this material is gray.
Odor: Microsilica is odorless.
Solubility: Insoluble in water.
Combustibility: It is non-combustible.
Benefits of use
The pozzolanic activity of microsilica is very high, which means that it can react with calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) in the vicinity of water and form calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H), which is the main binding agent in concrete. This reaction improves the strength, durability and impermeability of concrete.

Ferosilis slag
A product with 40 to 60% ferrosilis and an economical price
Ferrosilicon slag is a byproduct of ferrosilicon production, which contains silicon as its main content. At present, silicon slag can be used not only for deoxidation in steel industry, but also in cement, concrete, calcium silicate board and brick industry. However, due to its high alkali content, the applications of silicon slag in the building materials industry are quite limited.
